In the heart of Dubai, at Madinat Jumeirah, between the rows of pashminas and shiny dresses, ice cream stalls and tourist t-shirts... In the world of soulless consumerism one may find a place where art happens. A digital kind of art.
When asked to update the branding of Theatre of Digital Art Dubai, we tried to feel it's essence. Some say digital art lacks soul, others say it’s all form rather than substance. But we believe it’s alive. The Brand Story we’ve created is about a beating heart of digital art, pumping adrenaline, dopamine, serotonin into the minds of digital-art-non-believers. The new branding system is so dynamic, it feels alive. Digital shows, live paintings, wellness activities, music events, education and masterclasses, family shows – whatever we do, it’s now a part of a single organism – alive and breathing, evolving, having its own color, texture, animation and speed.
That’s how the heart of Dubai digital art started beating. And it’s not going to stop so long as there is still some love for art on Earth.
