OctaFX. Empower your freedom
Trading that fits your life
For its launch in Brazil, OctaFX promised that trading fits the life you already have instead of replacing it. Our film follows an office worker through three side gigs that go wrong, and back to his desk, where OctaFX gives him a better way to earn.
A category that sounds like a casino
OctaFX (now Octa), an international online broker, was entering Brazil. The client wanted forex and binary-options users to see that profit comes from knowledge, not luck, with no easy-money imagery. Rival promises were interchangeable ("Get more from your trading"), and local ads leaned on flags, football and carnival.
Not another job
Many Brazilians already juggle more than one job and want extra income. They believe money comes from knowledge, but fear that learning to trade will eat the time they don’t have. Of four routes under «Learn to earn», the client chose «Multitask investors»: a platform that respects the life you already have and lets you learn at your own pace.
A chicken, a crab and a pile of dirty kit
Our office guy tries a children’s-party chicken suit, a kitchen with a crab that fights back, and a football club’s kit room. Each time an OctaFX phone floats by with a «Learn to earn» ring. Directed by Tincho Donoso with Funky Films, shot in Chile in Portuguese.
Octa came back
This was Octa’s first campaign with us. It led to Lucky to have, Octa’s global campaign for its trading app, and to work on its brand platform.
